Sharing information with you
Benefit claims are confidential and we only discuss the claim with the person making it, unless they have given us written permission to discuss it with you.
The information we can discuss with you is limited to:
- if a claim has been made
- if we have made a decision on the claim
- when the next payment is due
- general details if your tenant needs to provide us with further information eg income details needed
We will not provide information to you about your tenant’s personal or financial circumstances.
If we make payments to you we can discuss:
- the amount of paid
- the dates the payment relates to
