To access safeguarding training:
HM Government Prevent Training - learn how to support people susceptible to radicalisation:
- Prevent Awareness (30-40 mins) for anyone new to Prevent and what it is, signs to look for when it comes to risks of radicalisation and awareness. This is the first course in the Gov’t Prevent duty training.
- Prevent Referrals (30-40 mins) Designed for Designated Safeguarding Leads and professionals or equivalent roles who make Prevent referrals.
- Channel Process (50-60 mins) for any before attending a Channel panel so you have a better understanding of how the Prevent programme runs and helps those at risk of radicalisation.
- Prevent Awareness Refresher (20- 30 mins) for anyone who has already completed the awareness course and needs a reminder of the key points.
