Current highway schemes

Increasing the safety of the Borough’s roads is a routine operation. Safety for our road users and road workers is our top priority and is the main consideration in all decisions made.

The Council would like to apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused to local residents and road users, but every effort will be made to keep this to a minimum. Thank you for your continued patience during this time.

Please be aware that construction sites are dangerous places. May we ask you to be vigilant during this period to ensure that people, and particularly children, do not try to gain entry into the working area. If you would like any further information about these schemes, please contact us at highways@bolton.gov.uk
