Commenting on the Local Plan
Consultation on the Publication version of the Bolton Local Plan is open from 15 October 2026 until 23:59 on Thursday 26 November 2026. You can submit your comments (also known as representations) during this period. Any late submissions will not be considered.
Comments must be made in writing:
- If you have a comment to make on just one site allocation or one policy, you can use this online form: Local Plan Comment Form (Snap Survey).
- If you have comments to make on multiple parts of the plan, use this Local Plan Comment Form (Word document) and return it by email to ldfconsultation@bolton.gov.uk or by post to Local Plan, Strategic Planning Team, 3rd Floor, Town Hall, Victoria Square, Bolton, BL1 1RU.

What happens next?
