Parking bay suspension

What is it?

A pay and display bay may be suspended in certain circumstances, eg contractors loading and unloading throughout the day to adjacent premises.

How to apply

Apply for a parking bay suspension

You must apply for the suspension at least two working days before the date you require it to start.

If you apply for a suspension and then decide to cancel, you must do this at least two working days before the suspension is booked to start, otherwise you will still be charged.

How much does it cost?

There is a standard charge of £26.00 plus an additional £7.75 per bay, per day.

A parking ‘bay’ is deemed to be an average car length. If the suspension covers more than one area of bays, each area will be charged individually.

If the areas of bays that are required are separated by yellow lines / loading bays / permit bays or are on an opposite side of the route, then this will determine that they are separate areas.
