Tickets are selling fast for Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Panto in the Albert Halls from Saturday, December 1 to Sunday, December 30.

Produced by New Pantomime Productions, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs stars X Factor ’s David Heath and Sam Callahan, Brookside and Benidorm Michael Starke plus Lynn Francis and Charlotte Dacia.

The Panto is the traditional family favourite popular with children and adults of all ages. It sees a beautiful girl, Snow White, take refuge in a forest where seven dwarfs hide her in their home from her wicked stepmother, the Queen.

The Queen is in a rage of jealousy as she wants to be known as ‘the fairest in the land’ but Snow White's beauty stands in her way.

Tickets are priced at £14 for children and £18 for adults with discounts available for groups of four or more plus booking fee (£1.50) and can be purchased from www.quaytickets.com/boltonalberthalls or by telephoning 0843 208 1851.

Leader of Bolton Council, Cllr Linda Thomas, said: “We are delighted to welcome the return of Bolton’s traditional family pantomime to the Albert Halls. The refurbished venue is perfect to entertain the hundreds of children and their families during what promises to be a superb production.

“There are performances right through December with afternoon and evening shows to choose from so plenty of choice so people can fit it in with their Christmas preparations. However, tickets have been selling fast, so I would encourage people to book quickly so as to avoid disappointment.”

Meet the stars:

Lynn Francis as Queen Malevola

Liverpool born Lynn trained at Sandown College. Since leaving college she has worked continually in theatre, television and film.

Some of her Television and Film credits include: Reds and Blues The Ballad Of Dixie and Kenny, Colour Blind, a film directed by Lenny Henry, Charlie Noades RIP, The Lie is Dead, One Fine Sunday, Dead Drunk, Dave Dot, Demo Man, No Marks, I’ve Got a Bad Feeling About This, Doctors, Hollyoaks.

Lynn has also appeared in various pantos across the country including Empress of China: Aladdin (Southampton and Runcorn), Fairy Godmother in Cinderella (Southport), Genie of the Lamp in Aladdin (York), and the Wicked Queen in Snow White (Torquay and Runcorn).

Michael Starke as Muddles

Michael Starke became one of the most famous faces on British television during his twelve year role as ‘Sinbad’ in Channel 4’s Brookside. Prior to his Brookside role Michael was already a well known stage actor in his native city of Liverpool. A regular performer at the Playhouse and Everyman Theatres in productions as diverse as ‘She Stoops To Conquer’, ‘Hamlet’, ‘Blood Brothers’, ‘Be Bop a Lula’ and the critically acclaimed ‘Cavern of Dreams’.

In addition to his TV and film roles, Michael has also returned with great acclaim to ‘the job hewas born to do’ – Musical Theatre. Recent starring roles being the Narrator in Richard O’Brien’s Rocky Horror Show, Willie Russell’s ‘Our Day Out’ Monsignor O’Hara in Sister Act and the all singing and dancing ‘Edna Turnblad’, in the record breaking UK touring production of “Hairspray’.

Sam Callahan as Huntsman

Sam is a 24 year old singer/songwriter from Essex. He’s been performing since he was eight and he started writing his own music when he was just twelve. Intent, even then, on pursuing a career in the music industry. Just prior to leaving the Sylvia Young Theatre School at 16, he was signed by ex-Spice Girl, Gerri Halliwell and pop mogul Simon Fuller to be in a new teen pop band.

Frustrated at not being able to perform the music he was writing, Sam broke from the band in 2012 to forge his own solo career. Sam is a great showman, with a remarkable work ethic, great determination and dedication.

He has worked tirelessly to build an active fan base consisting of thousands of loyal supporters which have dubbed themselves ‘Callafans’. Today he has a social media following of almost 1,000,000 fans.

David Heath as Prince Valentine

David trained at Merseyside Dance and Drama centre. A 3 year musical theatre and  teaching course graduating in 2006. Just a few months later that year David hit our TV screens becoming a finalist on X Factor with boy band Eton Road.

They shot to fame finishing fifth place up against Leona Lewis. Whilst in the Band they performed in front of thousands of fans on a UK X Factor arena tour also with David presenting it.

They had a tour of their own appearing on many TV and radio shows, and venues all over the UK and Europe and introduced to some of the biggest stars in the industry.

He is extremely happy to be back in Bolton this year, he wishes you all a Happy Christmas and a great New Year and hopes you enjoy the show.

Sean Luckham as Sarah Spoilit

Sean was born in the swinging sixties, trained at the Hampshire specialist drama course gaining a diploma in theatre studies and a London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts gold medal.

He got bitten by the theatre bug working backstage at the wonderful Edwardian King’s Theatre Southsea sweeping the stage and dreaming of one day performing on it.

His dream came true and in 2001 he joined the New Pantomime Productions as Widow Twankey in a star-studded production of Aladdin.

Sean is delighted to be returning to the wonderful Albert Halls Bolton after showing his bottom (in A Midsummer Night’s Dream) and spending Christmas with the wonderful audiences of Bolton.

Bernadette Windsor as Colonel

Bernadette is delighted to be treading the boards at the Albert Halls this Christmas. She hails from Grimsby but, at the age of 14, came to London to train at Italia Conti and then played Alice in the 70s cult children’s series Come Back Lucy.

She has also trained at The Actors Centre in Covent Garden and theatre credits include Wait Until Dark at Vienna’s English Theatre and Helen Keller in The Miracle Worker as well as Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs at the Millennium Forum, Derry, Motherwell Theatre, Shaw Theatre, London and Middlesbrough Theatre.

Her film work includes a cameo role in I Capture the Castle playing opposite Romola Garai, Dolores in Get Santa and as a goblin in the forthcoming Artemis Fowl. In addition to acting in umpteen plays for BBC Radio Drama, she also played Sue Nash in the radio soap, Waggoner’s Walk.

Charlotte Dacia as Snow White

Hailing from the North West, Charlotte Dacia has been performing since the age of 3 when she began her training as a dancer.

Charlotte trained in Classical vocal study and Musical Theatre alongside her dance training and at the age of 16, was accepted into the Hammond School, Chester, where she was awarded a DADA scholarship to fund her training in Professional Musical Theatre. During this time, she won numerous national singing competitions and performed several roles.

Charlotte also teaches Musical Theatre at Art In Motion Dance and Theatre School, Cheshire where she thoroughly enjoys passing on her love of theatre and vocal technique to her students. She is also thrilled to be back in Bolton in her favourite pantomime with a wonderful cast!

Gwynneth Hoyle as Grouchy

Growing up in Leeds provided many opportunities to enjoy music and theatre. This led to an interest in local drama societies in Knaresborough and Harrogate where I now live.

Gwynneth has enjoyed roles in productions such as ‘Dad’s Army’ ,’Are You Being Served ?’, ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’, ‘Sleeping Beauty’, ‘Stags and Hens’.

Recently she has been a TV extra in various episodes of Emmerdale. Gwynneth’s funniest moment was in a short comedy video for a company in Keighley. Riding up and down on a stairlift, it inevitably picked up speed – perhaps you can guess the result!

Gwynneth is looking forward to performing in Bolton this year and wishes you all a very Happy Christmas.

Francesca Mula as Cheerful

Francesca Mula is an Italian Actress, born in Sardinia. In 1971, she moved to Rome to study at the Technical Institute for Tourism.

In Summer 1974, Francesca came to London for a summer English Course and fell in love with the City and Culture. London became her home, where she worked in the Fashion Industry for many years with leading Designers.

Francesca has appeared in several films, in Italy and in the United Kingdom. In 2015-2016 Francesca appeared in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs at the Princess Theatre, Torquay. Francesca is delighted to be performing at the Albert Halls Theatre in Bolton.
