Visitors to Heaton Fold Garden Centre can enjoy delights from the artisan market as they return next month.

The first market of 2023 will be held on Sunday 23 April from 10am to 3pm.

There will be a variety of locally produced food, drink, homeware and gifts from some exciting new stall holders as well as the return of some old favourites.  

Stalls for April’s market include:

  • Slippery Cauldron (@slipperycauldronsoapsco) selling hand-made sustainable soaps and bathroom accessories
  • Jitterbugs (@jitterbugsbysally) selling handmade metal figurines and trinkets.
  • Urban Preserve (@preserverurban) selling local, sustainable chutneys and jarred preserves.
  • Art By Joules (@Artbyjoules) selling bespoke pen and ink drawings and postcards.

Further markets will be held on 28 May, 25 June, 23 July, 24 September, 22 October before the Christmas markets return in November.

Bolton Council’s Executive Cabinet Member for Environmental Services, Cllr Nadim Muslim said:

“There’s always a fantastic array of stalls on offer at Heaton Fold Artisan Market, so if you’re looking for a unique gift or simply enjoy trying out tasty, locally produced goods, make sure you head down.”  

This year’s markets are organised by Sarah Aspden in conjunction with the council.

Heaton Fold Garden Centre is on Overdale Drive, off Chorley New Road. Free parking is available on site.
