Removal of floral tributes
Thank you to all those who laid tributes in memory of Queen Elizabeth II.
All tributes will be respectfully removed from the Town Hall steps on the morning of Wednesday 21 September.
Flowers will be taken to Heaton Cemetery for composting and other items will be curated by the council’s archives team. We are aiming to archive cards and other items of personal significance.
