In Bolton, we recognise the positive impact that faith communities have on our wider community.

The Bolton Faith Network aims to foster mutual understanding, respect, and collaboration among different faith communities.

What the network is for

The network aims to promote interfaith dialogue, address common challenges, and work together for the common good.

Faith representatives are often at the forefront of local responses, and together, we work to provide support and reassurance, especially in times of challenge.

The goals of the network are simple

  • Promote interfaith dialogue - create opportunities for open and respectful conversations among different faith groups.
  • Build relationships - foster strong relationships and trust among members of different faith communities.
  • Collaborate on common issues - identify and address issues that affect multiple faith communities, such as social justice, peacebuilding, and community development.
  • Educate and raise awareness - provide educational resources and organise events to raise awareness about different faith traditions and practices
