Voters in Bolton are urged to double-check their designated polling station.
On Thursday (July 30), voters across Greater Manchester will head to their local polling station to have their say in the Mayoral by-election.
Because the vote is taking place in the summer holidays there have been some changes to polling station locations, and residents may be voting in a different venue to the one they are used to.
Bolton residents are therefore advised to double-check their designated polling station before they head out to cast their vote.
Voters can see their designated polling station on their poll card, or by checking the list of changes below.
Changes to polling stations:
- Blackshaw Primary School has changed to St Osmund & St Andrew’s Primary school, Falkirk Drive
- Heaton & Lostock Children’s Centre has changed to St Thomas of Canterbury Primary School, Eastbourne Grove
- Lostock Parish Centre has changed to Lostock Primary School, Glengarth Drive.
- Gilnow Primary School has changed to Krishna Temple on Wyresdale Road
- Church Road Primary School has changed to St Peter’s Parish Centre, 347 Church Road
- Sutton Trust Community Centre, Addington Road has changed to St Mary’s Primary School, Edale Road
- St Columba’s School has changed to St Aidan’s Church, Crompton Way
- Claypool Primary School changed to Brazley Community Centre on Cedar Avenue (for electors north of Chorley New Road) or to Chorley New Road Primary School (for electors south of Chorley New Road)
