Business owners, entrepreneurs and students can get free support and expert advice at a series of talks organised by Bolton Council.

Talk seriesThe Business Twilight Talks will return next week by popular demand and will include a total of six weekly sessions covering a wide variety of topics.

Each talk will be on Thursdays from 6.15pm-7.15pm in the Lecture Theatre at Bolton Central Library in Le Mans Crescent.

The talks are free and will include refreshments and networking opportunities. Parking is free on Le Mans crescent after 6pm.

The topics covered in this series are:

  • February 2 - Cyber Security, presented by The North West Cyber Resilience Centre: Experts discuss website protection, network security and prevention of cyber-crime.
  • February 9 - Find the Time! Time Management for Busy People, presented by Paul Limb of ActionCOACH: Explaining the tools to move on, make more profit and find the time to do the important things in business, and life.
  • February 16 - HR Tips for Business, presented by Steve Oakes of Peninsula: Tips from one of the UK's biggest and best HR solutions providers.
  • February 23 - Seven Stages to the Perfect Pitch, presented by Chris Bate of The Growth Company: Learn how pitch business ideas.
  • March 2 - Get Paid and Improve Your Cash Flow, presented by Paul Hatton of SV Legal: Learn the right way to collect customer debt.
  • March 9 - Top Tips to Boost Your Business, presented by Dr Mohammed Sadiq of The University of Bolton: Talking top tips for boosting your business and become tax-efficient.

The Twilight Talks are presented by Business Bolton and Bolton Library’s Business and Intellectual Property Centre, a national network of business support at libraries which is led by The British Library.
