Helping you get online and get the most out of digital
From learning how to use your computer and smart devices to advice and guidance on accessing services online, we're here to help you make the most of the digital world.
We have online resources, printable guides, video tutorials and more, including eAudiobooks, eBooks and online learning.
If you’re not a member you can join online.
There are also step-by-step instructions available.
1-to-1 Help with our Digital Helpers
You can also book a digital help 1-to-1 session with Bolton Libraries.
These free sessions are provided by volunteers to help people who have not used computers, smartphones or tablets before or need to gain confidence in using them.
The sessions last for an hour and there is an opportunity to book follow up time if needed.
We aim to provide help tailored to what you want to learn and can offer assistance with digital basics, such as using the internet, social media setting up email, downloading apps and getting started online. We can also help with online job hunting and CVs.
To book a session, ask a member of staff at your local library or phone us on 01204 332853.
If you are interested in becoming a Computer Mentor, please visit our Volunteering webpage.
Call in to one of our monthly drop-in sessions at your local library to get help with your device. Our friendly team will be on hand to guide you. There's no need to book, just turn up!
The frequency of the drop-ins for each location are listed below.
