Is any information exempt?
If the information falls into one of these categories we are not obliged to release it under the Freedom of Information Act. We have to decide whether the public interest lies in releasing or withholding the information. In these cases we only apply the exemption if there is a genuine risk of harm or prejudice. If we decide that the public interest lies in withholding the information, we will explain to you which exemption applies.
