What happens next?
Once a permit is issued, you’ll need to apply to The Stationery Office (TSO) for copies of the prescribed Certificate of Authority and prescribed badges. An order form will be sent with your permit.
Essential maintenance will take place overnight on Wednesday 2 September and Thursday 3 September 2026. Some online forms and services may be temporarily unavailable during this period.
