Leader of Bolton Council, Cllr David Greenhalgh, said: “Bolton Food and Drink Festival is always a popular event.
“The celebrity chef demos usually sell out quickly, so we would advise people to get their tickets early to avoid disappointment.”
Regional Managing Director at Aldi, Ruth Doyle, added: “This is our fifth year of supporting the Bolton Food and Drink Festival, and each year it gets bigger and better.
“Bolton Council has done a great job of organising the event and they have lots planned, from live entertainment to cookery demonstrations. Our local team will be there sharing award winning Aldi products for everyone to enjoy.”
Chef Michael Caines will launch the foodie event on Friday (August 23) before hosting a gala dinner the same night.
The festival will also feature a speciality food, drink and crafts market with more than 200 traders, live music, street performers, and a fantastic family zone.
Tickets for other special events including a comedy night, a gin and rum festival as well as masterclasses with some of the North West’s leading regional chefs will be released in early June.
