Young entrepreneurs will be setting out their stalls once again as the ever-popular Teenage Market comes to Bolton.

Teenage marketNow in its fourth year in the town, the market will return to Victoria Square on Saturday (April 6) from 10am to 4pm.

The market gives young people, aged 13 to 25, an opportunity to showcase their business ideas as well as their musical talents.

Over 20 stalls will be selling everything from cakes, art and jewellery to fashion, manga and sweets.

The event will also feature performances from One Pitch, Emily, Lucy & Izzy, CONIXI, Kallea, Jack Tracey Band and The Saints.

The Teenage Market is a nationwide initiative set up by teenage brothers Joe and Tom Barratt from Stockport to support local young people and transform town centres.

A spokesperson for Bolton Council said: “The Teenage Markets are an ideal platform for local young people to show if their commercial talents and musical skills.

“The events are always well supported, and we look forward to seeing shoppers supporting the business leaders of the future.”

Additional Teenage Markets will be held on June 22 and September 14.
