An array of birds of prey will be swooping into Bolton Artisan Market to entertain young visitors this Sunday (March 19).

Children will have the chance to meet a selection of birds when Gary’s Feathered Friends come to the market at Heaton Fold Garden Centre.

His collection includes a Harris Hawk, Canadian Buzzard, Barn Owl and Indian Eagle Owl.

Visitors to the market will also find a selection of around 20 traders serving up a range of goods, from 10am to 4pm.

Hand crafted pies, stone baked pizzas and award winning Bavarian bakes are just some of the treats on offer, alongside handmade jams and chutneys; gluten free pies and cakes; Lancashire cheeses, bespoke home furnishings, crafts and jewellery.

Entertainment will also be provided by Peter Jackson – Retro Parade singer.

Traders attending: Ahmed Olives; Bavarian Patisserie; Bowland Pork; Bowland Smokehouse; Fat Jaxs chutney; Fine Yarns Horwich; Ickysticky cakes; Karen’s Krafts; Mwah Pizzas; Signature Soaps; Simply Country Co Cheese; Torc Jewellery; Wonky Stitchers; The Cumrbian Pie Company; The Gluten Free Pie Company, and World of Detox.

Location: The garden centre is on Overdale Drive, off Chorley New Road. Free parking is available on site.
