Trader applications for this year’s Bolton Food and Drink Festival have now officially closed, with hundreds of food and drink businesses confirmed.
With the festival programme now taking shape, organisers are reminding businesses and the public that all official Bolton Food and Drink Festival updates are only shared via the festival’s verified channels and website.
Any posts or advertisements claiming to offer trader opportunities outside of these official channels should be treated with caution.
Returning for its 21st year from Friday 28 to Monday 31 August, Bolton’s award‑winning Food and Drink Festival will bring four days of food, family fun, live entertainment and special experiences to the town centre.
The festival will feature hundreds of traders, showcasing a wide range of food and drink from local favourites to regional and international flavours, alongside free family activities and live music across multiple stages throughout the weekend.
Celebrity chef James Martin will return on Saturday 29 August with ticket‑only live cooking demonstrations at the Albert Halls, which are expected to be in high demand.
A programme of special events and ticketed experiences will run alongside the main festival, including the return of the popular Faulty Towers Dining Experience, with further special event announcements to be revealed soon.
The festival continues to build on its success after recently being named Best Speciality Market at the 2026 National Association of British Market Authorities (NAMBA) Awards.
More details on traders, music and special events to be announced in the coming weeks.
