Bolton’s award winning Food and Drink Festival is gearing up for another unforgettable year - and just in time for Mother’s Day, one of its most popular ticketed events has officially gone on sale.
A Hilarious Night Out: Faulty Towers The Dining Experience
Back by phenomenal demand, the world‑renowned Faulty Towers The Dining Experience returns to the Albert Halls Bolton on Saturday 29 August.
This internationally acclaimed immersive theatre show, inspired by the iconic BBC sitcom Fawlty Towers, blends improvised comedy with a delicious 70s‑style three‑course meal.
Guests can expect chaotic service, unforgettable interactions with Basil, Sybil and Manuel, and a night filled with laughter.
Perfect as a unique Mother’s Day gift, the show is one of the festival’s fastest‑selling events each year.

James Martin Live Cookery Demonstrations
Festival favourite and TV chef James Martin is also returning for another year of crowd‑pleasing live cooking demonstrations.
Taking place at the Albert Halls on Saturday 29 August at 11am, 1pm and 3pm, James will showcase some of his favourite dishes while sharing stories, tips and culinary inspiration. He’ll also be taking part in a Q&A during each session and book signing at the 11am and 1pm sessions.
His demos remain a highlight of the festival and consistently sell out quickly, making them an ideal present for mums who love great food and entertainment.
