Heaton Fold Garden Centre’s popular Christmas market is back for another year.
The market will be open on Sunday, 23 November and Sunday, 14 December, from 10am - 3pm.
Stalls will sell handmade gifts, Christmas decorations, and festive food.
Father Christmas is expected to pay a visit between 11am - 2.30pm, courtesy of the Rotary, and visitors can enjoy hot food and beverages from both the markets and the on-site café.
Other special guests include Plane Tree Farms, who are bringing along their goats as well as selling produce.
There will also be the opportunity to take pictures with rescued falcons and owls from Lancashire Hawks and Owls.
Staff will be on-hand to help visitors pick their perfect Christmas tree, with Premium Grade trees starting at £39.99.
Cllr Akhtar Zaman, Bolton Council’s Deputy Leader responsible for Planning, Economic Development and Corporate Property, said:
“Heaton Fold Christmas market is the perfect way to make the most of the festive season while supporting wonderful local businesses and charities.
“With lots of food, fun and Christmas shopping, this event is for the whole family to enjoy.”
Located at the bottom of Overdale Drive, Heaton Fold provides free entry and car parking, with disabled access around the garden centre.
Heaton Fold is a council-run garden centre offering work placements to adults with learning disabilities.
The aim is to provide a safe, fun, and supportive learning environment, with all profits going straight back into improving and maintaining the facilities.
