The world’s largest IRONKIDS is back for 2026 with tickets officially going on sale at 3pm today.

IronkidsFor a limited time, there will be a special early bird offer of just £5 per entry.

Due to the major success of the event, there will be 6,000 places available for children and teens aged between three and fifteen, meaning it will again be the biggest in the world.

This event is renowned for selling out in advance, so early bookings would be advised to avoid disappointment.

Each participant will receive a t-shirt prior to the event and a finishers medal after to commemorate the special occasion.

IRONMAN 70.3 Bolton weekend will take place from the 5-7 June incorporating three core events across three days of family friendly activity.

On Friday, 5 June, up to 1,800 people will tackle Night Run Bolton UK with a 5K and 10K course available.

Then on Saturday, 6 June, Bolton town centre will play host to the world’s largest IRONKIDS where up to 6,000 children and teens will race through the streets of Bolton.

Finally, the main event, IRONMAN 70.3 Bolton will take place on Sunday, 7 June, which will involve up to 2,000 athletes battling it out to be crowned IRONMAN 70.3 Bolton champion in the male and female categories.

Bolton Council’s Executive Cabinet Member for Culture, Cllr Nadeem Ayub, said:

“The IRONMAN 70.3 weekend is one of our flagship events in Bolton and it’s a great privilege to welcome people from around the world to take part in this phenomenal challenge.

“The IRONKIDS event is a highlight of the weekend as we welcome young people to test themselves physically whilst also being able to experience the fantastic atmosphere created each year.

“Having the largest IRONKIDS in the world is a brilliant achievement for the town and really showcases the commitment to the health and wellbeing of our children.”
