The scheme which was introduced in 2010 provides businesses with a rating based off hygiene standards on their premises.

They are given a rating from five to zero, with their rating being displayed on their website and premises.

A rating of five is currently the highest ranking achievable and specifies that hygiene standards are very good.

The venue successfully launched in November 2022, serving hot and cold drinks, including alcohol and its success resulted in the introduction of a food menu in 2023.

Visitors to Bolton town centre can now enjoy delicious food and snacks at The Albert Halls cultural hotspot which has been at the heart of the Bolton’s for over 100 years, hosting a variety of concerts, shows and civic events.
