Thinking of all those who have suffered or been affected by COVID-19

It's been a difficult year for the entire Bolton Family, the country and the world.

It's been a year since the first case of coronavirus (COVID-19) was confirmed in Bolton.

This week is a time to reflect and remember those who have sadly passed away, those who have suffered and those who are still poorly or affected in other ways.

Leader of the Council, Cllr David Greenalgh said: "As we remember all those who have suffered, we are hopeful for the future as we continue to pull together to fight the virus.Thank you #TeamBolton for everything you have done and for continuing to follow the guidelines.

"COVID has not gone away but there is hope for the future."

The Mayor of Bolton, Cllr Linda Thomas has spoken in this short video that it's a moment to reflect and remember and to thank everyone.
