Our information resources are easy and free to use. All you need is the eight digit borrower number on your library card. (If you are using a smart card, please enter the eight digit number written on the reverse of the card).

This is a great place to start when you need to find out about a subject as it covers almost anything you can think of from Aardvarks to the Zuni (look them up if you don’t know who they are)! Britannica contains lots and lots of articles, images, videos, a world atlas, a dictionary, thesaurus and much more.

Issues Online covers a huge range of topics you might need information on for your homework. Subjects like crime and justice, drugs and alcohol, health, human rights and citizenship are all covered. Every topic has news articles, key facts and statistics, opinions from people involved in the subject and even suggestions for topic work and assignments.

To log in put 'bol' at the beginning of your library card number.
