Description

Have your say on admission arrangements for Bolton primary and secondary schools for the academic year September 2028 to August 2029

By law, admission authorities, like Bolton Council, are required to consult on their school admission arrangements, either once every 7 years (if no changes are made) or whenever they are proposing a change to their admission arrangements.

Bolton Council are now asking parents, guardians and stakeholders to feedback on the admission arrangements of children going into reception and secondary schools in 2028-29, or for those children moving school during the school year 2027-28.

We would like feedback on:

1. Proposed reduction in PAN at High Lawn Primary School

The local authority is proposing to reduce the published admission number (PAN) at High Lawn Primary School from 60 places per year group to 45 places per year group.

View more information on the proposed change please view our High Lawn Primary School FAQs

2. The local authority is consulting on the admission arrangements for community and voluntary controlled school and the co-ordinated scheme for admissions

The admission arrangements and co-ordinated scheme have been updated for the relevant year of admission. There are no other changes.
