Budget consultation 2019-21: Have your say
Our draft budget proposals for 2019-21 are now out for consultation and we are interested in your views.
Since 2011, the council has already saved £155 million and must now find further savings of £31.5 million over the next two financial years.
The report put forward to Cabinet on 3 December recommends that the council use £8 million from its reserves to balance its 2019-21 budget, meaning directorates will have to find savings of £23.5 million.
A further £8 million will also be used from reserves to allow savings to be phased in.
