Conservation areas

Bolton has 26 conservation areas, please see the downloads section for details.

  • to demolish buildings
  • to demolish parts of buildings or other structures
  • for external works to property
  • for work to trees
  • for advertisements
  • for work that would normally be viewed as permitted development.
