Play and Youth Service offer a range of free and low cost child centred play provision across the borough offering activities within local communities for children and young people aged 4-13 years old. All staff are DBS checked (previously known as CRB).
Play Sessions (4-12s)
Mainly for younger children these sessions are about getting involved with fun activities such as arts and crafts, role play, games and much more! Sessions usually run after school and on a weekend with extra sessions in the school holidays.
Junior Youth Club (9-12s)
Junior youth club is a great way to gain experience working with older children. Positive activities are still the main focus however the children may need someone to listen, offer them advice or teach new skills to prepare them for the wider world!
Youth Club (13-17’s)
Working with teenagers the youth sessions offer an array of activities and projects that aim to develop young people in to adults. Activities can range from fun light hearted topics to more issue based projects that aim to inform and challenge perceptions! A great way to make a real difference in young people’s lives.
