Bolton Council have procured a scheme to refurbish the Ghost Train sculpture. These works are due to start week commencing 25 May 2026.
During these works there will be intermittent off-peak lane closures around the roundabout on Mansell Way, and every effort will be made to keep disruption to a minimum.
The Council would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused to residents and road users, and every effort will be made to keep this to a minimum. Your patience would be appreciated during this time.
As you are aware, construction sites are dangerous places. May we ask you to be vigilant during this period to ensure that people, and particularly children, do not try to enter the working area.
