- St. Gregory's is a Roman Catholic primary school that caters for pupils from four to eleven. It is situated in the centre of Farnworth. There are currently 190 pupils on roll. Pupils are organised into seven classes. The school promotes strong Catholic values and pupils are taught the difference between right and wrong. Collective worship is central to supporting the distinctive Catholic ethos of the school. The school provides a variety of out-of-school clubs and is working towards Healthy School status.
