B5238 Crown Lane and Station Road – Resurfacing and Drainage work - Bolton’s Highway Schemes

Carriageway resurfacing and drainage work on the B5238 Crown Lane (from Chorley New Road to the M61 Bridge) and Station Road (from Moss Lane to the A6) is due to start on the 21st July 2025 for approximately three weeks, weather permitting.

Due to the nature of the works, it will be necessary to close Crown Lane and Station Road temporarily during the surfacing works.

Access to properties will be maintained, however there will be times during the works when access will be restricted. During the works can residents please keep the above roads clear of vehicles during the working day to enable the works to be undertaken. The contractor undertaking the works will advise residents nearer the time.
