B5408, Blackrod – Resurfacing and Drainage work - Bolton’s Highway Schemes

Carriageway resurfacing and drainage work on the B5408 Blackhorse Street, Church Street, New Street, Manchester Road (from Hill Lane to Blackrod Bypass) is due to start on the 23rd June 2025 for approximately four weeks, weather permitting.

Due to the nature of the works, it will be necessary to close the B5408 temporarily during the surfacing works.

Access to properties will be maintained, however there will be times during the works when access will be restricted. During the works can residents please keep the above roads clear of vehicles during the working day to enable the works to be undertaken. The contractor undertaking the works will advise residents nearer the time.
