Campbell House 2023

Bolton Council and Bolton at Home are undertaking a consultation on the future of Campbell House.  

The council is consulting on proposals to end the on-site care service within Campbell House.  The reason that the council is proposing these changes is that Campbell House is a very small extra care scheme, the kitchens in the flats are very limited and do not support independent living.

Without the in-house care service being present, the scheme would no longer be viable as a housing option for older people and so Bolton at Home are proposing to decommission Campbell House as a housing scheme for older people.

Bolton Council and Bolton at Home are now consulting with stakeholders to understand how this proposal will affect accommodation, care and support needs.
