Description

Bolton Council are proposing to create a Resource Provision at Claypool Primary School, to help young children throughout their primary education by providing targeted support for those with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) within a mainstream school setting.

These children will be additional to the number of children admitted through the school’s normal Admission criteria and will therefore not reduce the number of mainstream places offered by the school.

To accommodate this resourced provision, the Council is proposing to internally modify an existing classroom within the school. There will also be an opportunity to offer a separate dedicated and secure access for pupils, together with a discrete outdoor play area.

For further information please view the statutory proposal.
