Dedicated Be.EV taxi and private hire charging points

The message below is from our partners at TfGM:

"We’re are introducing 60 rapid charging points across Greater Manchester dedicated for EV Taxi and private hire vehicles licensed by a Greater Manchester Authority, using £5.9m of Government funding. They’ll become part of the Be.EV charging network. 

We began with more than 100 possible sites, in car parks or public land owned by local councils or Transport for Greater Manchester. After gathering feedback from GM Licensed taxi and private hire drivers and operators, we’re now planning to install two dual-headed charging points in 30 locations, with each Local Authority area in Greater Manchester having three sites."
