Description

Bolton Council wants residents to have their say on the borough’s electoral polling districts and polling stations.

For voting purposes, Bolton’s 20 council wards are divided into polling districts - each with its own polling station.  The council reviews these districts regularly to make sure polling stations are fit for purpose and in the right place to meet the needs of the community.  This next review will also factor in the upcoming changes to ward boundaries.

Earlier this year, the Local Government Boundary Commission made its final recommendations for a new ward map for Bolton which will be used from next year’s election.

An interactive map showing old and new ward boundaries can be viewed in the commission’s website.
