Bolton Council and Bolton Cares have been working with Clear Sustainable Futures to develop the proposals to build a new state-of-the-art day centre and community hydrotherapy pool on the site of the former Firwood School off Crompton Way. The day-time opportunities offered at the centre specifically caters for people with care and support needs and will provide support to adults with learning and physical disabilities and Autism, their families and carers.
The purpose of this consultation is to provide an opportunity for local people and organisations to learn about our proposals and to tell us what is important to you and what you would like to see on this development.
The team will be hosting a community drop in session on Wednesday 18th August between 3.30pm and 7.30pm. This will be your opportunity to hear more about the proposal and contribute any feedback.
The session is taking place at the offices of Bolton Cares, Thicketford Day Care Centre, Thicketford Road, Bolton, BL2 2LW. No appointment needed, just call in.
