Description

We would like your views on a new Health & Wellbeing Hub that's proposed for Horwich.  If approved, the new Hub would be a centre where local people could get medical treatment, and support to help them stay healthy.  A wide range of services - some of which are currently only available in hospitals - would be offered seven days a week, with space for health & wellbeing community groups to meet.

Pike's View Medical Centre and Bolton Community Practice would move into the Hub and close their current sites. There would also be a pharmacy [chemist].  Royal Bolton Hospital Foundation Trust Community Services would move some services into the Hub as well, such as District Nursing, facilities for clinical tests like MRIs, and mental health support.  In addition, social care, and services that helped to prevent the need to go into hospital could also be provided.

The area next to the new leisure centre has been put forward as a suitable place to build the Hub.  Ample car parking would be provided and the site is served by a bus route, making it a convenient  location for the people of Horwich.

Please read the Horwich Health & Wellbeing Hub proposal before completing this survey or visit Invest in Bolton for further information.
