Operation Ocean

Operation Ocean is a response to Unlicensed Music Events (UME's) also known as Raves and Non-Covid compliant mass gatherings by Greater Manchester Police.

GMP are asking for your help as a key part of the transport network to forward any information you my get on future large gatherings, for example where you are getting multiple fares to take people to the same location or if you come across a spike in bookings for a particular location.

In particular GMP are wanting information in relation to:

• When are events taking place?
• Where events will take place?
• Who is planning these events?
• How are these events advertised?
