Description

Local residents are being asked for their environmental opinions, climate priorities and ideas to reduce emissions to shape plans for Bolton being a healthier, cleaner and greener place to live within the next 10 years.

The Bolton Vision Partnership - a local partnership that brings together senior leaders from the voluntary, community and faith sector, the private sector, the university, college and schools, health, housing, emergency services and the council - is encouraging residents across the borough to share their views through a survey.

The survey, available to complete online, asks people to rank the importance of potential green options to introduce, from more electric vehicle charging stations, to extra cycle lanes or more allotments to encourage local food growth. The survey asks people to have their say on a range of measures which organisations in Bolton could implement to save carbon, such as improving energy efficiency in social housing, investing in low carbon transport or more recycling and reusing facilities.

All responses will be anonymised and no individual will be identified in any report.
