Description

Bolton Council is seeking a Public Spaces Protection Order [PSPO] to allow for lockable gates to be installed across Duckshaw Lane and Fletcher Street. This is being pursued in response to repeated instances of crime and anti-social behaviour – primarily fly tipping – at this location.

Businesses and residents who occupy properties directly attached to the proposed gated route would be given keys to allow them to open the gates. The Council and emergency services would also hold keys.

The Council has to be sure that this is the right thing to do, so as a local resident,  someone who works in the area or other interested party, it's very important that you give us your views to help us decide whether to go ahead with this scheme or not.

If the proposal goes ahead there would be no charge for residents.

Responses from individuals will be grouped together in any report and anonymised so that you cannot be identified.
Any personal data you provide will be held securely in line with our retention schedule and privacy policy, which can be found here: www.bolton.gov.uk/data-protection-freedom-information/privacy-notices
