Description

A consultation is taking place on proposals for an amendment to the local council tax support scheme.

The local council tax support is currently given to around 30,000 individuals and families in the borough, whose personal circumstances mean that they are eligible for financial help to pay their council tax. It is proposed that the local council tax support scheme is amended from 1 April 2021.

In line with national requirements, pension age households will not be affected by these changes.

We are now consulting on the proposals and want you to have your say.  Your responses will be anonymised and no individual will be identified in any report.
