You can access burial records in a few different ways:
Deceased Online offer the following records:
- digital scans of burial and cremation registers
- computerised records of burials and cremations
- details of those buried in each grave
- cemetery maps indicating the area for each grave location
- photographs of memorials and headstones

You can browse the records on microfilm at the history centre based at Bolton Central Library
Cemeteries Office
If you have the grave number, deed or grant numbers, you can contact us to help locate the grave, or if you simply require more information about the plot.
There is a £5 charge per search.
