Postal charges are made for each overdue letter sent (2nd class). No charge is made for overdue notifications sent via SMS text message.
Reservation and overdue notifications by voice or text message
You can opt to have your overdue and reservations awaiting collection notifications sent to you via text, voice message or email.*
To take advantage of this service, please ask about our telephone and email messaging service on your next visit to the library.
If you have a mobile phone, you can choose to be notified by text message. If you have a land line, our system can contact you with an automated voice message.
For customers with land line numbers:
Ask staff to amend your record so that you receive automated voice message notifications.
For customers with mobile numbers:
Ask staff to amend your record so that you receive an SMS text message.
For customers with email addresses:
