Love Your Local Market 2013

The second national Love Your Local Market Fortnight will be taking place from 15th – 29th May. This exciting campaign is dedicated to building support for local markets across the UK and providing an affordable opportunity for new traders to showcase their products and test out the market.

Bolton is hosting an event in the town centre from Thursday 16th to Saturday 18th May. You'll find a range of stalls offering everything from cakes, crafts and jewellery to plants, wooden bird boxes and benches. Trading between 10am and 4pm on Victoria Square.

A one off event will also take place Westhoughton Market on Saturday 25th May, where additional stalls will be set up alongside the 30+ general market stalls, trading between 10am-4pm.

Bolton Food & Drink Festival

This is an annual event which takes place over the August bank holiday weekend in Bolton town centre. Featuring a large speciality food & drink market, celebrity chef cookery demonstrations and street entertainment.

Now in its eight year, the event will be taking place from Friday 23^rd – Monday 26^th August 2013. Last year over 102,000 visitors attended the four day event. Visit www.boltonfoodanddrinkfestival.com to see a snapshop of the event.

Local Produce Market

Bolton holds a Local Produce Market on the fourth Sunday of every month.This event is currently suspended until Spring 2013.
