Culture Bolton Grants
Culture Bolton’s Small Grants Programme supports individuals, organisations, and voluntary groups to create and deliver cultural activity across Bolton. There are 3 types of grant available. Applicants are encouraged to apply for the amount that best supports their project, helping us fund as many creative projects as possible.
1. Micro Grants
- For individual creative practitioners or organisations
- To support training, resources, CPD, travel, childcare or equipment
- Up to £500
- Application deadline 12:00 noon, Monday 14 December 2026. Please note: Applications may close early if the programme becomes over‑subscribed.

2. Small Grants
- For constituted organisations
- To support creative projects taking place in Bolton
- Up to £5,000
- Application deadline: 12:00 noon, Friday 22 May 2026

3. Capacity Building and Governance Grant
- For constituted organisations
- To support capacity building, governance and buisness planning
- £10,000
- Application deadline: 12:00 noon, Friday 22 May 2026
- We encourage prospective applicants to talk to us before applying to explore suitability, refine ideas, and understand how the grant can best support their organisation.
