Horwich and Blackrod Children's Centre is located in the Horwich North East Ward and Horwich and Blackrod ward . The Horwich centre is based within Horwich Library on Jones Street, in close proximity to Horwich Health Centre. The Blackrod centre is based within Blackrod Library on Church Street, in close proximity to Blackrod Health Centre and Blackrod Church School.

What services can parents and children access at the centre?

The centre offers a range of integrated services for families with children under the age of five years. These services include:

• Information on early years and child care provision
• Information and support to access wider services
• Information and advice for parents and carers  

Does the centre have a nursery on site?

The centre has no linked day care provision. Information about day care providers in the local area is available from the centre.

Are there any other services available at the centre that parents can access?

The Centre is shared with Horwich and Blackrod Libraries and also links up with Horwich Health Centre, Blackrod health Centre and Brazley Community Hall for sessions.
