Supporting your independence
Social care and health services work together to support you if you become ill or frail as a result of your condition. We will support you to maintain your independence and control over your life.
These are some of the things we can help you with:
- Social care - direct payments - where you could have funding and buy your own care
- Help for your carers, including help with your parental duties
- Information about appliances and adapting your property
- Home care
- Mobile meals - meals on wheels
- Disabled people - parking permits or subsidised travel.
