Support for young people over the age of 16
The TFGM ‘Our Pass’ scheme enables your son/daughter to travel for free on buses in the Greater Manchester area. Further details are available from the Our Pass website, or by ringing the customer services line on 0300 323 0777.
Further details of the support available locally can be found in our Post 16 statement, supporting young people and their parents/carers to make informed choices. This includes travel assistance arranged by Bolton Council for pupils aged 16 or over who have a special educational need or disability, or medical need which makes them unable to travel to school or college unaided. Whenever possible, travel solutions will be reviewed alongside EHC Plan annual reviews and at transition points for:
- Years 11 -12
- Years 14 – 15
- Years 17 – 18
