The Westhoughton Town Council will award a Young Citizen of the Year Award in 2020 to a young person up to the age of 30 years old inclusive, who has rendered great charitable or voluntary service to the community of Westhoughton.
Members of the public are invited to write in to the Council with their nominations.
The nominees must have provided charitable or voluntary service to Westhoughton in any field eg: sport, entertainment, politics, voluntary services, children and young people, charity fundraising etc.. They do not have to be residents of Westhoughton to qualify. Serving Town Councillors are not eligible and former Councillors would be required to declare their intention never to seek re-election.
Please give as much detail as possible about the service by the young person you wish to be considered.
